Pumpkin Patch

Mrs. Stark's Pre-School went to Lattin Farms to the pumpkin patch.  It started off with a bang when we spotted this fuzzy caterpillar.

Of course we road the cow train . . .

Checked out the animals . .  .

And entertained ourselves climbing this tree.  This is the best climbing tree in town.  Fenn was particularly fond of it.  He kept saying, "Hey mom, get a picture of this!"

We also road a hay truck out to the pumpkins.

And finally, we picked our pumpkins. The other kids took about 60 seconds to find theirs, all within about 10 feet of where the hay truck dropped us off.  Not Fenn, he took FOREVER and walked, and walked, and walked to find the perfect pumpkin.

The entire preschool class, plus the cute siblings!

Miss Pam's Pumpkin Patch
Fenn and Caleigh!  Fenn adores Caleigh and vise-versus (I think?)!  Caleigh's mom, Carrie takes Fenn from preschool.  At the beginning of the year, before she got a mini-van he had to sit in between her kids car seats, it was pretty squishy.  So the the first day she brought him home, I asked, "Fenn how was riding with Carrie."  "Good! I was so squished I thought my tenders were going to pop off."  Me, "Umm did you say that to Carrie."  Fenn, "Yeah!"  I had to apologize, luckily she had a sense of humor about the whole thing.
Now that I have gotten completely off topic, let me return . . . . where was I? Oh, the pumpkin patch.  Miss Pam plants pumpkins and the kids all trek over to her garden and pick their pumpkins!  Its adorable!

Briston, is Caliegh's little brother. Fenn LOVES him. I love this picture because he is always getting in his face imparting his wisdom to him- hopefully it's not his "tenders wisdom!"
