Halloween

Pre-School Parties . . .

We started the festivities off this year with two  Pre-School parties.

Then we headed over to "Papa's Pumpkin Patch." Usually, Gaga and Papa grow a few cute little pumpkins. Not this year.  This year they were great big and very cool; so cool that Papa decided to get in on the carving right then and there.    As you can see it was pretty fun.  Later in the week we carved five more pumpkins, and me being the space case that I am didn't take a picture.  I am so mad because they turned out so good!

Trick-or-Treat . . .

Of course, Grandma's courtyard looked fantastic.  The boys couldn't wait, it was as exciting as Christmas.  Malcolm was a knight.  Jenny made the whole thing out of cardboard and hot glue, it was pretty cool, the detail she added with the glue.  Marcus was a sniper (shocking I know).  Fenn and Trevor both opted for ninja's.  Mostly I think they wanted the swords!

We tried to get a group shot with everyone . . . WHAT A JOKE!

Hazel's witch was the cutest thing costume ever. I loved it!  I will be saving it for Maleen next year and Almah in a few years!  Sadly, this is the best picture I have of her in it.  We got about 2 blocks from Grandma's and she said, "I'm getting tired in this costume."  So I carried her, her broom, her pumpkin, and Marcus's hood all the way back!
Fenn and Hazel put their costumes on one more time on Monday and Katie brought them over to the school's costume parade which was fun!  Hopefully Katie got some pics because I was leading the parade!

At first I was annoyed that Marcus wasn't in any of the pictures. Then I looked at them for the 3rd or 4th time and saw him! He really blended in, either that or I'm blind. They all looked SO cute!
